Pet Retreat is absolutely phenomenal. My 1.5 year old Aussie Archie adores his time there and the staff. I love that he can play with other dogs in a spacious turf area even in winter.

While he was boarded, I received daily report cards which included photos of his shenanigans, how he was doing, and names of other dogs he befriended. My friends can attest to me tearing up reading the praise for him and news that he was having a blast. When I picked him up, he was tuckered out and happy.

I would recommend the Pet Retreat to any dog owner, especially those of social dogs like mine.

Love this place for daycare for my dog. At the end of the day she’s happy, hungry and tired. She gets some much needed interaction with other dogs and the staff is great.

This place is awesome. My little Reese always has the best time here and I know she is getting the best care. It’s obvious that the staff here genuinely care about their job love animals. A tired pup and and good report card with pics from them at the end of the day is a little bonus too

We took our 10 month old Westie in for an assessment and he had a blast! We received pictures of him playing with other dogs and a report card. The staff was very comforting as we were worried about him behaving (he did), We will definitely go back.

Pet Retreat is amazing! 😍 My dogs truly enjoyed their stay there. It was also a relief not to worry about them, knowing they were being taken care of so well.

What a First Time Assessment Looks like

First time assessments are an important first step to making your dog a regular at Pet Retreat. They are a half day, cost $25, and available every day of the week. First time assessments are required before you book a daycare or boarding stay. Here's what we assess:

01

Human Interaction

First, your dog will spend time interacting with our team to ensure he/she does not show any inappropriate behavior towards humans and is comfortable being handled.

02

Social Skills

Next, your dog will join one of our playgroups with temperament and size appropriate dogs to make sure they enjoy being around other dogs and show no signs of resource guarding or inappropriate play.

03

Nap Time

Lastly, your dog will spend time in one of our suites to observe how they handle the suite area. This is to ensure there won't be excessive barking or destructive behavior during naptime.
